What the pixel-size control changes
The browser reduces visual detail into square color blocks and scales those blocks across the output. This is a deliberate mosaic effect, not a resolution enhancer or a reliable anonymization guarantee.
Faces, text or identifying shapes may remain recognizable at mild settings. Use a sufficiently coarse preview for the intended context and do not rely on pixelation alone for sensitive redaction.
